Services Offered (a brief summary):
Natural Nails:
Manicure:
nails are shaped, cuticles are softened and clipped (if necessary),
cuticle oil applied, scented lotion is used for a hand and arm massage,
nails are polished. Approximate duration: 45 minutes
Mini-Manicure: nails are shaped, cuticles are softened and
clipped (if necessary, cuticle oil applied, scented lotion is applied,
nails are polished. Approximate duration: 30 minutes
Polish Change: nails are shaped and polish applied. Approximate
duration: 15 minutes
Wrap and/or Tips with Wrap: glue and fiberglass applied and
refined to reinforce a cracking nail; if additional length is needed, a
tip is also applied. Approximate duration: 10 minutes/nail

BEFORE

Full
Set (acrylic): pink and white acrylic (liquid and powder) with forms
extend and enhance natural nails. Polish is not usually required but may
be applied if desired. Approximate duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Full Set (gel): tips are glued onto the natural nail and shaped,
then gel is applied to reinforce the nails. Polish may be applied if
desired. Approximate duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Rebalance (fill), acrylic: acrylic is thinned and fresh acrylic
applied, reinforcing the stress area of the nail as well as repairing
any broken nails. Polish applied if desired. Approximate duration: 1
hour
Backfill, acrylic: acrylic at the free edge ("white")
is thinned with an electric filing machine so that new white acrylic can
be applied, the balance of the acrylic on the nail is thinned and pink
is reapplied. If desired, polish is applied. Approximate duration: 1
hour 15 minutes

AFTER !!!!

PINK & WHITES |
Rebalance (fill), gel: gel is thinned, any broken nails
repaired/replaced, new gel applied. If desired, nails will be polished.
Approximate duration: 1 hour
Buff and Polish: acrylic or gel is refined and reshaped, new
polish applied. This service is frequently done to refresh the
artificial nail between regular appointments or to help extend the
original service if a longer than customary time is taking place between
fills. Approximate duration: 30 minutes

Please
note: regardless of the service being performed, a French Manicure
(pink or beige and white, or some variation of this) can be done to the
nails. No additional time is required although a small additional fee is
imposed.
At this time Mindyfingers does not offer pedicuring services as
Connecticut law requires that only licensed cosmetologists can perform
that service. Mindy is a Colorado-licensed manicurist.
